I guess I always assumed ducks stayed on the ground or in the water. This is wonderful. The duck is perfect - wonderful clarity, colors, pose, and a sparkle in his eye.

I'm glad that so much of your wild areas are protected. I like your composition with the river leading into the scene to those interesting bumpy hills in the distance. the sharpness and natural color looks good. The sky is a bit overexposed and would have required a filter to expose more evenly.

Very well done. Beautifull POV, colours and sharpness.
If I may... 1 photographers note:
DOF is a combination of Diaphragm and Focal-length. Using a low F/number (a big diaphragm) will result in a blurry background. When using a focal-length of about 100mm it will give you a perfect DOF. Trying to keep your F/number below the 6 is a good startingpoint. Your lens will do the rest!
Hope my hint is usefull to you and again: Very nice picture.
Oh... and I learned from your information.
Compliments, Arjuna. |

A very expressive face!
I don't know if he is sad or not, but for sure this is a very expressive portrait.
I like the tight framing, and the eyes direction of the monkey.
The face structure is a very particular one, with all that skin's folds and textures, and the white whiskers over the almost black skin.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
My best regards,
JM |

I love the feathers. Birds always seem so bored but dutiful on their nests. Have you tried compensating the flash. You can turn down the brightness in one third increments if you feel that the light is a bit harsh.
