Hi Ivan

A lovely shot you have captured of this female Holy Blue. It was interesting to read about the female being the more beautiful of this species. I suppose it is true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but apart from humans, we don't often see this in nature.

I really like your composition and POV. Showing the full right wing while the left wing is slightly obscured gives an interesting dimension to the shot. The details are nice and sharp (especially on the right wing, head, and antennae) and the colours are great. The BG is remarkable and the contrasting evenly green colour does well to enhance the insect. The exposure was well managed ensuring perfect lighting on the subject.

What a lovely capture of this reflective swan and tastefully placed in a very neat frame. It almost seems like the swan is actually looking at itself in the reflection. Maybe it was contemplating the beauty of self.

The all-round soft colours and light does the trick here for me. The composition and POV is eye catching and the proportional placement of the subject suggests excellent cropping. Lovely colours and great details give the shot a further edge to stimulate the visual senses.

Great action shot on these White Pelicans. A good exposure has great looking colors and nice detail. Right now there are thousands of them along the Mississippi River here on there way back north.
