This is first photo of quail I have seen on TN. Outstanding look at mother and child. Focus is pin sharp. Exposure is outstanding. Colors are very natural. Excellent POV with nice DOF.

Great shot with perfect sharpness, although the tip of the bill is just out of focus. Did you work on the BG darkening the corners?
It looks a bit artificial to me.
Great shot anyway

What is more, it has been photographed extremely well in the shape of a close-up of the face with the animal's tongue out and moving over its nozzle.
What superb focus, colours and details!
I notice that you have not written any notes with your two pictures uploaded so far nor have you written any critiques on other people's work.
I suggest you do both because you would then be in a position to take interactive part on this site and would get better feedback on your work.
Well, it is entirely up to you.

I didn't know that this one's also where called "Grandma's glasses" I thought that was Germander (Teveronika). But I agree it's one of our most beautiful flowers allso because the usually have all three stadium of flowers at one and the same plant.
Nice Photo anyway.

Dragonflies seem to be one of the most common macro subjects on TN. Having shot them I know some of the reasons (they're big, they sit still for a while, their eyes are remarkable). But you've taken a common subject and approached it from a new angle. The light and black bg really help, too. I love the way the details sparkle in the light. Very well done!
Mike
P.S. I gave some of your other shots a browse and I think you have a remarkable catalog here. |
