Oh God! They look like heaven to me Tom. How nicely you covered the page in such a warm and familiar cover. No place on earth grows these like California.

There is something in photography that cannot be taught as well as depth of field or focus of 'catch the moment'. There is this "INTRINSIC" factor which has no words....and you are so good at that. I think perhaps for the lack of a better name I shall call it the 'intrinsic soul' of a picture. Very few people have it. You are fortunate. It certainly shows here. It defy s my heart. I know I am priced out of California now...but there will always be people like you and your pictures to remind me of where half of my heart belongs....

I seen so many of these guys around some small towns in Alberta . They are great as long as the neighborhood dogs stay clear . We have a few around the farm , but we try to keep them away from the buildings . Glad you didn't meet this guy in a dark ally , great shot , TFS , Kevin .
