Hello Ivan,
thank you for posting this bird dropping able to fly also upwards. Nice presentation of the complex wing pattern, in particular of the left fore- and hindwing. Depth of field appears rather narrow (f5.6). Eventually, a smaller aperture would have been advantageous.

Hi Wim. Welcome to Treknature. What a striking picture to start your portpholio with. I love the eye-catching colour of the Fire Heath. Excellent clarity and Depth of Field. The background is just unobtrussive enough not to interfere but gives a good indication under what conditions these plants grow. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work. A very good capture of this canard!
I like so much the clear view of the bird and all their beautiful coloured feathers, specially the conrast made with the blue one.
I think your composition works pretty well in this case.

This is an excellent capture!
I like so much the POV and pose catched on the insect.
Their colours and patterns on the wings are so beautiful, you managed pretty good the exposure and the fill flash to get this excellent details.
