WOW Bob, you sure got close to the bird in this shot and that is not always easy to do. Because of your near proximity you have got very good detail in this capture, with the fine feathery feathers, good colour and focus, this photo is an all around a fine capture. Good details and interesting pose. A bit too tight cropped on the right and top of the picture.
In difficult light conditions like this I usually compensate +1/3 or even more.

This is a nice collage of dragonflies and I know that was time consuming, but the finished product is nice. Did you consider putting the name of each dragonfly inside it's frame in a small font? Nice presentation either way.

Great closeup of the killdeer. As active as they are it is hard to get close. You did a nice job. The colors are very rich and well saturated. Excellent view of eye. Outstanding sharpness.

I'm glad you shared this one. The colors are nice, but what strikes me most is the outstanding exposure. The light and detail around the butterfly head is excellent. Wish you could have gotten all of antenna and wing. Very nice DOF and background.

you know that you have a very good outlook on things and I must say thanks for dedication to our military personnel who laid it on
the line so long ago now.My Grandfather who is now 87 years old would surely be proud of your important note as am I.He served in the navy for Canada from 1936 till 1945 and became a fire fighter from 1945 till 1980 when he retired.His life was about the hard and difficult things in life and He never shied away even once,so I am proud of his accomplishments.I will salute your photo of this young maple tree leaves as they our country's symbol and what so many defended to keep free.Well done Jay and thank you.
