I'm guessing this is either a Swamp Sparrow or possibly a Chipping Sparrow. Did you happen to hear her call. The Chipping Sparrow has a call like a buzzing sound, not very pretty. The Swamp Sparrow has a prettier trill sound. Both species are found east of the Rockies '>

You sure came close to this little cutie. The detail of her feathers is awesome, and the background nicely blurred. Great colours and lighting. Well done Bob.

Hello Stephan,
Your butterfly is a White Peacock (Anartia jatrophae).This is an outstanding photo with beautiful colors. The composition is excellent. The leaves provide a great complimentary color. The DOF is exceptional. I do think there is a little noise and it could be sharpened a bit. I will add a workshop tomorrow. Outstanding choice of frame.

This is an exceptional macro photo. The exposure and DOF are amazing. Beautiful rich colors against a very pleasing green background. The details are outstanding.
I used NeatImage to filter noise and sharpen a bit. The results show just how amazing this photo is, but I cannot add workshop tonight. (I have reached daily limit).
