Once again I find myself in the situation where I have to admit to someone that it's been some time since I last saw or visited one of you posting and the reverse is also true (chuckle). I can assure you that it is not through any loss of interest, but due to my problems with my legs my activities and time on TN has been somewhat limited compared to the past. I'm not trying to work up some sympathy factor here, but mention this purely as a matter of fact.

I like this solitary in-flight penguin against the cloudy sky as BG. The fact that it is not overwhelmingly zoomed in or cropped actually gives one the sense of this vast expanse and how even a big bird (9½ feet wingspan) becomes small in the sky. However, you show us enough of the bird to appreciate its features and its beauty. The details are nice and sharp, the colours are natural, the exposure was spot-on, and the composition is great.
