Cuckoo wasps are rarely seen on photographs. In Europe they are really very tiny. But you caught a whopper of a wasp and you did a good job rendering the metallic colours. Sharpness, the composition, all is excellent. Congratulations and thanks for presenting it.

Hemaris is a photographers dream but you just captured it here. In my experience they are nervous critters and you don't have many chances for a shot before they leave. All is not 100% in this shot, the flower competes too much with the animal because of its colour; the head is hidden. But never mind, well done! What I like a lot with your pictures are the detailed notes and your serious effort toget the biology of the respective animal right.

Bonjour Servane,
an attractive picture of the earwig showing that this insect is not so 'unattractive'. The picture is technically perfect with super-sharpness. Colours, framing and composition are very nice, too.
