A simple crop to maintain the overall presentation < removing some debris above the primate; keeping the thirds rule > ; then:
a) adjust light & contrast
b) saturation

a) light & contrast
b) saturation

PS NO sharpening done cause it destroys the photo.

I wanted to create a more defined focal point by lightening and sharpening the waterfall. I think the higher contrast where the waterfall is against the dark background gives more focus to the image.

I cropped the picture to move the point of interest, the bee to top right intersection. I then sharpened the picture a bit, reduced the image brightness a bit and increased the contrast a bit.

I used the sharpen tool to try to enhance the details on the damsel and then i used the blur tool to smoothen up the leaf...it all took about 3 minutes :)

Hope you'll like it :)

I cloned out the extra stuff and then pulled the focus of the photo onto the mushroom by taking out the extraneous stuff. I sharpened it a touch...too much made it very noisy...and then touched up the color a tiny bit.

Salut Horia,

Uite cum am eliminat portiunile supraexpuse:

- am deschis fotografia in CS2;
- am duplicat layerul initial;
- pe duplicat am pictat cu Healing Brush Tool alegand ca sursa zone corect expuse de pe crenguta;
- am creeat un Layer Mask pt. duplicat;
- pe Layer Mask am folosit Paint Bucket Tool cu culoarea neagra ca sa devina transparent (tot layerul);
- am pictat cu alb folosind Paint Brush tool (opacitate 15%) zonele supraexpuse;

Exista si alte metode dar asta mi-a venit acum in minte. Oricum, sper sa iti fie de folos.

La multe fotografii frumoase! :)

Eddie
