I love the simplicity of this composition. It is very effective.
This is a fabulously detailed shot and well exposed. I'm surprised it hasn't received more comments.
Hi Peter. Always nice to see some underwater shots on here. I've posted a couple of underwater shots myself recently but they don't seem to generate nearly as much interest here as insect shots for instance.
I have no idea of the species. Interestingly is it swimming mid water? I'm surprised by the lack of any other detail beside the shrimp. Most shrimps tend to hang around the bottom.
This is a lovely shot with fantastic colours and well composed. I have only one very minor criticism. To the left of the bird at neck height there is a small black mark on one of the leaves of the plant. It looks like it might have been dirt on the sensor perhaps. Given the otherwise perfection of the backgroud, I would be inclined to clone that bit out as it is just a little bit distracting.
Great shot. Lovely contrast between the blue of the damselfly and the out of focus brown background. Good composition and sharpness.
Lovely photo Karin. Lizards make such attractive subjects. I almost used the same title for a lizard shot I posted after you!
Great composition. I know how frustrating it can be waiting for them to stay in the right place long enough to compose and focus the shot.
The lighting revealing the texture of the plant is beautiful here. The shot works well.

This is a very effective silhouette. Shame about the second blade of grass coming from the top of the photo that protrudes into the dragonfly's head but otherwise I really like this shot.
