Nice composition with good textures and details. You may find it useful to bump up your ISO when shooting in shady conditions like this, as 1/100 can be quite tricky to get a sharp shot when hand held.

Excellent close-up Jaap, good details and nice sharp focus. It's very interesting that you are using the Tamron 90mm di as I was thinking of purchasing it early next year. How are you finding it? I did consider the Nikon 105 VR until someone told me that the VR was unusable for 1:1 macro work anyway.
