The tranquility of the location is brought out excellently, thanks to the colours the sky was presenting you and the camera has captured them quite well. Sharpness and depth are quite beautiful. Brightness of the foreground grasses and the background trees match, making it a lovely picture.
Best of luck.

Perhaps light was poor and hence this dullish shot. I've tried to shoot this many times but ended up with such results. May be you had focussed right, but the light breeze might have carried it that much closer making the silk web to get into better focus as you can see. Just a guess.
This is one of the Signature Spiders. I've one exactly the same in my garden and is doing well ever since I noticed it about 6 weeks back. I've left it undisturbed, but had a shot at it, many unsatisfactory ones. Will try to post them here.

Stunning shot of the vivid colours! The colours seem to end up with red towards the right as if showing the transition of time! Magnificent location!
Hello Goutham,
Nice shot! Look at those folds straightened on its wings. It must have just arrived from its cucoon [spelt right?]. When it is fresh to the world, it is a joy to watch. The eyes of many butterflies look like that - as if a mesh is reflected. Anyone know why?
Well done Dejan! It is the observant eye that makes it possible for such shots. Tell me how many people stop to look, leave alone get down from a car when they spot something special! Excellent caption too you have given. It's a joy to see all of them together, dancing around.

Hello Pedro,
That's sharpness at its best! That insect must be drinking 'dragonfly blood' there! I have tried using a separate lamp to reasonable effcet, instead of the flash.

Hi Dietrich,
Excellent shot and title - though they may not have 'blood' inside! Excellent sharp image, with useful description. I have taken a pic of a spider with a prey wrapped up in silk and I noticed some flies sitting on the prey which is a bigger than spider bug. So now I know what these flies are. Thanks for this lively and lovely picture!
Regards.

Excellent picture and title of it - though these insects actually may not have 'it'! Lighting is excellent to bring out all areas! Very neat!

Hello Steve,
We use the same model cam. This is a nice shot, though it became easy for you!

What a lovely striped coat! Yes, could have been sharper. I'd not have used flash as I see from the b/g light was good enough. "Cat's eye" there, since it was close range flash firing. Those eyes are very sensitive. Next time you are there and if you get such fine opportunity, capture many shots! Some people forget to remove the 'macro' setting and could this have been a reason for this slightly out of focus shot? Just guessing. Good luck.
