It took you 14 months between becoming member and your first posting, but it was worth the wait hahaha! I'm mostly active on TrekEarth, but every now and then I look at TrekNature to enjoy little gems like this picture!

This is just wonderful. The crispy sharpness, depth of focus, all the little details, the hairs. Very nice!!

Een prachtige plaat! Heel mooie details!! (Ik begin nu wel in het Nederlands, maar ik weet eigenlijk niet of je Nederlands spreekt - puur op de achternaam deze gok).
De depth of focus is echt heel mooi. Wellicht zou ik de depth of focus wat groter genomen hebben om de oren er ook scherp op te krijgen. De kraag zou je dan nog met blur out of focus kunnen krijgen in PS. Misschien ook een beetje werken met de highlights om het licht boven op de kop wat donkerder te krijgen.

Maar een hele mooie plaat!

Wonderful picture! The birds are often portrayed as dirty animals who live on death animals and garbage, but even then a lot of beauty in this animal. Great picture!

Good colors! I especially like the combination of red and blue in it. Having a low DoF is nice, but it could have had more depth in this one! I also think it would be looking nicer if your flower would not have been in the middle of the picture, but a bit out of the center. But good colours!
