When in Kruger National Park we always spend some time when we come across these magnificent beasts. Gentle giants, I always call them. Great photo, Anna, catching this group by a waterhole. What about trying to get photos of the "small 5"? Leopard tortoise, ant lion, buffalo weaver, elephant shrew and rhino beatle?

Thanks for the handy tips, Anna. Now if the clouds would only go away I might also get to take a lovely sunset picture. I love the silhouette of the giraffe, gives life to the photo, once again, well done!

You are right, the closed eyes indicate a yawn :-) Still, its an impressive photo, one of those "right time, right place" phots that one is fortunate to get if very lucky. An dyou seem to be very patient with your photography, I tend to be impatient and often miss the good shots. Well done, a really good capture. As I have often said to anna, you guys should join a local club end enter your photos in local and international salons.

Excellent shot, Anna. Kruger Park is not only about the serious stuff like lions and elephants, ons should keep your eyes open for great moments like these. You have a good eye for a great photo! Well done!

I am speechless! Leopards in Kruger as as scarce as hen's teeth and to get a shot like this is fantastic. Once again it is a case of being at thr right place at the right time, someone else passing by within minutes would not get this shot. As for the photo, it is perfect, you are lucky to have the face between the grass. Once again, well done!

Hi Anna, like you we have also spent many happy moments in Kruger watching the antics of the baboons, especially the babies. When very small they hang underneath the mothers clinging on for dear life, when a bit older they tend to ride piggyback. This is a particularly good photo of such a piggyback rider, once again, well done!

What a great macro photo. Well done on spotting the tiny spider and taking the time to actually photograph it.You are right, one has to be on the lookout for things large and small, more often than not the small things make for the more interesting photos.

Perfect pose, perfect caption, perfect picture.
I really think you should be entering your photos in salons, both local and international. With your newly won photographic equipment the sky is the limit for you!
