Wow! This is brilliant! I've never captured one in flight like this. The DOF is perfect and gives it a sense of motion. Did you pan the camera at all, or was it still? Your shutter speed was insanely fast. Great job!
They're both so clear! This is super. I love your description, too.
I like the composition, how the ducklings form a circle around the hen. The focus is okay, but the lighting is a little iffy. I really like the circle of ducks, though!
Hummingbirds rock! I love this action shot, just before she took off. The DOF is short and gives us a real treat in focusing us on her wings and forward-leaning posture. Great capture, Angy!
I think it is a fine photo, and your note is interesting. The colors are vibrant on this and the detail is great. Good job!
This is *wonderful*. WOW. The depth of field is perfect, the moment frozen with such clarity...And the background colors bring out the bird's iridescent plumage. Did you do any post-processing to this, or was the background perfect as-is? It just a breathtaking shot.
Beautiful shot with a great lead-in into the frame with that clear place between the rows of trees. Why it only has six points after so many views, I don't know!
I saw this as a thumbnail on the main page and was smitten. Now I am mesmerized. What an incredible tapestry of colors and textures. This is wonderful shot. The depth of field showcases every nuance of the scene. I wish I could see this in person.
Great shot...I like how you were able to get both her and her old exoskeleton in the shot. Your note is top-notch, too. Aren't they fascinating creatures?

Wow, all that yellow really makes this shot pop! Great composition, too. Your note is detailed, too; I appreciate all the information you gave about these common little birds. I just bought a Sony Alpha 300 (DSLR-A300) so am looking up other Sony camera owners' shots.
