(252) [2008-07-23 4:10] It is, as Fatih has already stated, Nymphalis antiopa. In America it is known as the Mourning Cloak, in Europe and Asia as Camberwell Beauty. Beautiful butterfly but tricky to photograph without blowing out the whites in the band around the wing edge. :-)
