Incredibil ce varietate de pasari sint pe lacul Techirghiol!
Imi pare tare rau ca pe vremea cind traiam in Romania nu eram interesat de pasari (aproape 20 de ani in urma). Am fost acolo de nenumarate ori ca si in delta, dar nu imi amintesc sa fi vazut pasari - eram interesat doar de pescuit. Am fost iarna trecuta pentru o saptamina in Bucuresti si am vazut in Herastrau cel putin 30 de speci, toate noi pentru mine. pacat ca nu am avut decit un "point and shoot" si a fost si lumina proasta tot timpul. Data viitoaare poate te caut ...daca nu vei fi ocupat. Poza este foarte buna. Felicitari! Mai toate pasarile "postate" de tine sint pentru mine adevarate raritati. In "North America" sint foarte putine specii comune - alta cale de migratie.

Very nice capture for both of you! This is a Yellow-throated Vireo for shure.
I hope you had a good time at Point Pelee. I was there for a wakened three weeks ago and was a bit too early.
One week after, a good friend told me that Parulas and Ceruleans were landed of his camera two at a time!!!

Your picture is very good. The color tones are smooth and personally I prefer them this way. Some time a moderate light works better for me compared with a very strong one that give lots of problems with whites and excessive contrast. I experienced that often down South.
