Hi, many Echium species grows in Canarian's mountains and these are quite different in habitus and life form from these in continental Eurasia. In Canarian Isles big and 'bush'-like form is characteristic, something like big candles. This is caused by different evolution paths and of course natural selection conditions on C. Isles and in the continent. I hope I'll visit Canarians someday to see its flora distinct from continental.

Very interesting photograph with high tonal range and smart composition of plants.

Merry pose of this birdy. . Good sharpness and separation from the background. Cheers,

Very interesting inflorescences, contrasting on leafless tree.

Fantastic composition of Amanita muscaria young sporocarp and flowering plant from Caryophyllaceae family. I like it very much, juicy colors. TFS, Michal.

Fantastic specimen. It looks like this fungus sporocarp is attacked by another fungus (parasitic I suppose) - long "hairs" on the cap belongs to another species, these are some Zygomycota fungus sporangiums. Great,

Hi Philippe, I don't see whole plant (habit) but I doubt this is V. chamaedrys, it looks for me rather like some species close to V. persica or something. Regards,

I enjoy the "Y"-like composition on this photo.
I don't think it is Hypogymnia sp., for me it looks rather like some Parmelia species. Well, but I'm not a lichenoligist. Regards,

Wow, wonderful, it looks like 'high key' technique - bright & delicate colous. Similar to poppy (Papaver), isn't it?
