I found a swan beteen your pictures ans as I became afyter months of observing a specialist I thought it would be nice to comment this one.
I know it is hard to get a good picture when there is a lot of contrast. The best you can do is to focus on the highlight and later correct the picture. Here you lost the white part. Maybe you also should sharpen the picture a bit.
The scene itself I recognise! Specially that one feather sticking ot.

After your comment on the swans I had a look at your animals. Great works, realy!
This one for example, is a very good actionshot of the fying herron. Razor sharp and a good blurred background.
