Hi Paul,
I agree, we don't see black and white that often anymore. I guess it has to do with seeing it differently.
I like the effect on the fast moving clouds a lot. It gave this photo that bit extra and also created together with your low POV a lot of depth. The Scots Pine is a beauty and it has a wonderful view. The conversion to B&W is good, especially with the contrast in the sky. Maybe adding a little more contrast in the FG might be an idea, but it certainly does not make this photo less beautiful.

Hi Bob,
The mood is most wonderful and your timing is perfect, capturing the gees just in front of the full moon. I love the warm colors on both the gees and the clouds. The difference in sharpness between the gees and the moon are beautiful and gives this photo an even better mood.
Really wonderful work.

Hi Tony,
A late welcome to TN. I am glad to see another landscape photographer. This is a real beaty with such great exposure and composition. I love the action on the FG by the movement in the water and the nice balance created by the sunlit clouds. The mountain looks massive and is perfectly positioned. I really like the mutted colors.

Hi Sion,
This is a most beautiful view with very spectacular colors in the sky. The photo does need some more work then just the crop and resize. The horizon looks be tilted to the right and needs a few degrees correction. Also, I would like the see a little more room at the bottom. If you have a little more darkness on the left bottom, the photo feels more balanced.

Hi Adrian,
A wonderful view and a great composition with the fallen tree leading the eye. The morning fog on the lake adds a great feel to the photo. It is a pitty though that the sky came out over exposed. Just a bit darker would work better for the focus.

Hi Paras,
A nice creative photo with a good feel for the season. Although I am not sure if it suits the theme for TN perfectly, I do like the photo as it is. The clear water and the leaves on the bottom of the water are a wonderful touch.

Hi Howard,
I just watched the Youtube movie, and it is great to hear your thoughts about photography and nature. It's also great to hear the photographer behind so many great photos.
You made another wonderful photo here, with such great details and really beautiful light. The departing moment is a beauty. Looks like you got a nature background here, and not your kiddy pool.:)

Hi Adrian,
I think it's not that easy to find a good composition with so many wonderful shapes all around you and to get propper exposure with such different in lighting. You both nailed them here with a wonderful mirror like reflection and a well balanced composition. The artificial lighting was well controlled and gave you some nice focal points. It does show that mother nature can create some wonderful art.

Hi Paul,
I had to look at the date twice to figure out that it was taken just a few days ago. I would expect to see poppies this late in the season. That is something really special and also since it is a rememberance flower.
The combination of the naked trees and the ominous sky made this photo even more magnificent. I really like your POV here, with wonderful view over the entire pasture of red toward the steel colored horizon. The slight movement in the some of the FG flowers gives me the idea of the low light conditions and the again the fall season.

Hi Michael,
I don't think these are Przewalski's Horses. The manes don't stand erect which is a key signature of these wild horses. They might be Carneddau ponies.
