The green background complements the red of the dragonfly, and the dried, dead flowers are a good feature, evocative of the coming of autumn.
This is a terrific portrait, with great depth of field. Well done.
By the way, what's he doing in America?
Excellent capture even though it lacks sharpness ... well, it is a moving target. I'm surprised it's your first dragonfly picture. I look forward to seeing more.
I've seen quite a few dragonflies today flying in tandem ... so now I know why.
Terrific capture; I like the blurriness of the wings and the way the legs are folded.
Amazingly clear shot. Beautiful bird. Funny how the hook on the petal is trying to emulate a bird's beak.
Nice composition, with the smaller mountain in the front sloping in the opposite direction of the two larger mountains (or what we can see of them).
Interesting landscape, quite barren except for those pine trees. It looks like a hot place. Is the volcano extinct or dormant?
Good capture of the cooling-down pose. I like the depth of field. The white spot on the lower left is a bit distracting, though.
Very nice portrait, well done.
Black swans are native to Australia, and are Western Australia's state bird. They are very territorial - during the breeding season, they'll hiss at you if you get too close.
That sure must be one happy bee. Very good composition, but don't you think there's a bit much yellow in it? (joke)

Great shot of good-looking dragonflies. Even the wings are red. Excellent note, thank you.
