Hello Jesus,
Excellent sharp picture. I think it most likely that this is Hemiargus ceraunus, which is widespread in central America. Thanks.

Hello Jesus,
Another finely focussed shot, with excellent details. I think a member of the Lycaenid Hairstreak genus Ocaria. Thanks.

Hello Jesus,
An excellent capture of this small butterfly. You have very good, sharp focus and excellent lighting.
I have been looking through my reference books to help with an identification, and I think it is most likely from the family Riodinidae and probably from the genus Mesosemia, but this contains many species that are not illustrated generally so I would not guess any further.
Thanks for posting.

Hello Michael,
This is a Riodinid butterfly of the genus Lyropteryx, possibly L. lyra. You have created a very sharp image, although I'm not too keen on the blue wooden background...
Thanks, Alan

Hello Horia,
Very good, sharp image of a lesser-known Satyrid. Nice composition with the purple flower, but to my eye the green background is too strong and rather clashes with the muted butterfly. I have made a workshop to desaturate the green a bit. See if you like it.

Hello Ivan,
Excellent celebration picture. One of my favourite subjects, of course. Many thanks for all the pictures.

Hello Peter,
Excellent lighting and detail, on the dark areas especially difficult. Lovely colours and composition. Many thanks.

Hello Paul,
Excellent, unexpected capture. Good exposure under very difficult lighting conditions, and very good details. Thanks.

Hi Vinny,
You had sunshine! this morning!! Lucky old you... Early bird certainly caught the worm here. As you say, difficult shot to get, this. And you have perfect sharpness, although I think I detect a bit of noise in the BG. Neat Image to the rescue, perhaps. Thanks.
