Hi Thomas, a wonderfully captured moment with very nice detail of this action shot. The ripples in the water are split diagonally in colour with the contrast between the lighetr shades above and almost black water below creating "emotional elevation". The red beak draws attention as the only vivid colour detail and further emphasized the message.
