Just getting back into looking after a time. Wow. Thanks for showing this one. How can just a little bird look so beautiful? It is just a wonder!
I love the way the tail feather is parallel to the fern stem.

There is that curved horizon Scott. Nicely placed trees and it certainly gives the feeling of tranquility. Well seen.

You got me with this one. Curved lines on the horizon like you have create interest and my eye is more likely to wander along the line. Because of the clouds in the sky I like the balance of sky and land. I like the matching of the shape of the clouds and the shape of the foreground bushes. White on blue and green on red. The reds in the have great impact. I love the deep red and green.
I was thinking about what it would like with about 2 - 3 cm off the top but I like it this way. It really creates a reflection of form.
I think I REALLY like this picture.

Interesting layers in the clouds. Almost parallel to the horizon. I like that. In this case I like the small amount of completely back earth. I wonder how it would appeal with about 2-3 cm off the top!
I like the faint hint of diagonal lines from top right to bottom left caused by the structure of teh clouds rather than by the light beams. I can see two of them.
Well seen and well caught.

What lovely structure this photograph has Valerie. I love the interest the layers in the background create.

Beautifully done and great title.
I have a real smile on my face from your photo and that is what it is all about. I love all that negative space giving real shock value to the Lorikeet. I love it
