a fine picture, I don't think the sharpness is problem, the problem is the rules of TN who does not allowed more than 800px.
I like this picture, itäs well exposed, we can see details och shimmering tones in the plumage, really nice.
The short DOF is also fine, the bird stand out fine from the BG.
Well done, mf.
A very fine picture with sharp details in the fur, you manged rather well with composition too.
Even if Nikkor 85mm F1,8 is one of sharpest lenses it's a bit short for this kind of pictures.
But you handle and managed more than well, it would be great to see longer lens i your hands :-)
Well done, my friend.
Hi Ron ,
this is a stunning portrait of Cardinal , not only because it has a nice composition with good exposure.
I know from personal experience how hard it is to get the red color perfect, the details tend to disappear and the exposure of red tend to also be wrong with a digtial camera. You have to know how to do, what you have done here.
You have done very well with the details plumage , as well as with the dominant red color , the color reproduction is very good.
Hi Smitha ,
nice to see you on TN my friend, I visit TN sporadic now.
a fine picture , good komposion , nice colors and bird stands out well against BG, thanks to F/3.2 .
In place you have lost some sharpness run the eyes and beak because of the large aperture,
chest have sharp feathers. Maybe F8.0 would have helped
Anyway a nice picture .
congrats for a new spieces on TN, I thought we had seen all blues by know so its nice to see a new one.
The whole butterfly is very good focus and stand out well from the blurry BG.
Well exposed but I'm not sure about the WB.
Hi Laszlo ,
a very crips and clear picture with nice natural colors.
You did well with both exposure and WB.
I think thorns up right is a bit disturbing.
Well done old friend.
Hi Peter ,
Congratulations for your 8 years in TN . I think we can call you an Oldtimer now ; -).
I have been a pleasure to have you around all these years , always with great pictures and nice comments. Can not imagine TN without you and your lovely pictures of birds .
This is a nice picture to celebrate with , very nice low POV and DOF are the bird well from BG . Also good sharpness and fine natural colors.
Good work , old friend .
Hi Anne ,
nice to see a picture from you again.
A very beautiful picture of the flying dragonfly .
You have done well to freeze the wings and I think that DOF is very good, all the insect is in good focus and it stands out well against the blurred background.
Sharp fine details , natural colors and good exposure.
Nicely done, MF
You have tagen a very nice picture with sharp details, almost the entire insect is in good focus and still stand out well from the blurry BG.
You did well with the colours and exposer too.
a nice close-up shot of this Green lacewing, we have similar in Sweden often with red eyes.
Well composed, decent sharpness and fine natural colour.
