I've just been back from a cycling trip through (around and across) Jamaica and I saw the topped palmtrees and other devistations that are still visible. The people are still talking about it too.
Fascinating to see your picture, showing some of the impact of that hurricane.
Well, now you know it too: Never visit the Carribean between june and november. January and fubruary are ideal.
