A nice habitat shot. Often times there is a tendency to photograph the species up close. While such photographs have their own value I think habitat shots such as this provide a lot more information on the species and the habitat it interacts with. Thanks for the note and TFS.

The 3D effect gives a sense of actually lying down on the ground and looking at the "real" mushroom. (I can smell the soil ;))

By the way did you use two cameras to achieve the 3D effect or you made the effect from a single picture using image editing software?

Wonderful colours. the head and belly are a bit over exposed. How about one stop under exposure? or bracketing would also help. The BG is distracting, but is there a solution in this situation?
