(10360) [2009-10-25 23:16] WOW is the word that i would like to use for this picture! Good action shot with a wonderful reflection, a little more directional space would have helped, but i know its difficult to do that when you have to include that water splash behind the bird.

Getting a picture of a dark subject with so much of while around is always a challenge and i like your picture for that, The details are perfect , so is the position of the insect in the frame. There is a bit of noise all around, that can easily be removed using a good PP.

(10360) [2009-10-25 23:08] I Just love the clarity and a kind of diffused lighting which has brought out the beautiful colors. The POV with the diffused BG will keep the viewers interest on the subject and does not distract!
I'm not a big fan of Odd formats and still prefer 4/3 or 16/9 , but thats me! Good picture once again :-)

quite rare! congrats Gert, This is a good picture , love the catch light and the uniform lighting. What's that white in the BG ( Is that a sky )! Its little bright!
