Hi mate
Lovely work from you and your beach again :)
Indeed those big summer storms can give us some incredible moments - both during and right after - and you seized one just perfectly here! The tones and colors everywhere are fantastic and the texture in the clouds is bliss! Personally, i LOVE the part of the wet sand where you have those brighter spots reflected...that sooo cool!!!
Also awesome is the very subtle layering in the clouds - with slightly different shapes and sizes and, for sure, colors.
Overall, a true gem, mate!

PS: really cool note on the light changes, too :)
Hi Loot
A truly fantastic capture again from you! :)
Once again you managed to surprise us (and your subject) and catch it just in the right moment to best enhance its features and gives a totally new and interesting view.
...Man those teeth are cool!!! And much bigger than i'd expected, too :))
Seriously now, you really pulled it off here, taking this great shot from an excellent side POV and with just the right shutter speed in order to ensure this impeccable sharpness.

Hi Niek
Very nicely done, my friend! Getting back to the basics in the best way possible! I really like this clean composition that actually offers some tiny special details for those who dare look closer :)
The idea with the tall grass was superb and that is the one that sets this photo apart. I love the motion captured as well as the radial display of the grass itself - it almost remind me of those asian hanheld fans that ladies use when it's hot (i couldn't find a specific term for them in English). Anyway, the details and action here allow the viewer a much more candid view over and through than if they were placed as FG elements, in the lower part of the compo.
The shape of the tree itself is also beautiful and the dark colors make it stand out so well from the grass and sky.
Overall, a beautiful and very well thought of photo.

Un colt de natura excelent surprins de tine...imi place mult!
Imi place sa vad cum ai gandit compozitia asta inca dinainte de a face poze, considerand paraul diagonal si imi place sa vad diverse texturi si detalii pretutindeni in cadru.
Ferica alesa drept element de prim plan e excelenta si atrage multa atentie in timp ce padurea in spate confera adancime si balans.
Personal, cred ca ar fi mers un "sharpen" in plus aici, dar astea sunt detalii mici si usor corectabile.
Oricum foarte frumos.

Hi Tony
This is a truly stunning shot! Aurora shots are very rare here on TN so thanks a lot for such a great addition!
You've captured here magnificently and managed to keep the rest of the scene under a very good white balance setting. The details on the ice and stary sky are very nice, too and complement the northern lights well.
Overall this is lovely composition and post...too bad it has those tiny bits of compression artifacts in the lower left corner...but even with those it still looks superb.
Bravo and thanks for sharing

Hi Ivan
I've been out with a bad flu the past few weeks so i see i've missed a few nice posts from you, but now that i'm ok i checked your gallery and this image really captured my eyes right away!
It was both the image and the title, actually, that provoked my curiosity :)
Your photo is very nice and the note is excellent, helping anyone interested to identify the sexes of this lovely species.
The details on this Broad-bodied Chaser are exceptional and the light you had here made sure you would retain all those wonderful colors from its abdomen.
The BG is equally great - very blurry and neutrally colored - making the subject stand out a bit better.
Very nice work, my friend.

Hi again :)
This too captured my eyes and i had to compliment you for it!
The Greater blue-eared starling is not something we see everyday here, especially not in this terrific setting. It stands so well out from the ground and the vegetation and is so well places in this composition that it's extremely attractive.
The tones and colors are equally terrific and the depth is again superbly chosen.

Hi Annick
I hope you are ok, my friend...it's been quite some time since we "chatted", but let me just tell you that, to me, it's always a bit pleasure to visit your gallery here :)
This is a gorgeous shot in which the symmetry works SUPERBLY!
The frontal POV is just outstanding and the side lighting on the giraffe really does give it a good depth and saturation for the colors.
Lovely work, my friend!

Hi Markus
I've been out with a bad flu the past few weeks so i see i've missed a few nice posts from you, but now that i'm ok i checked your gallery and this image really captured my eyes right away! It's an abstract, yes, but not something i've seen you usually take. However, judging after how great this looks, it would appear that you take such shots for many years :)
This is a delicate balance of color, texture and depth of field that truly evokes autumn. I really love the soft light on the central branch and the lines that create this beautiful composition.
The title also works very well and i understand your choice and feelings.

Hi again, Paul
Couldn't stop by without complimenting you on this one, too :)
I've had very much the same picture in my mind all this year but didn't find the perfect location for it and/or the right weather condition at all :(
However, it makes me happy to see you have. And you really pulled it off here as well! This lone Scots Pine looks formidable and thanks to its great and very photogenic shape it creates the perfect subject for such a compo.
Then, the weather condition were fantastic here as well: not much wind on the ground level (as i can see from the pine) but lots of it in the thick clouds above. The blend between the two gives this scene a true ethereal feel...and that's all YOU! You made that...you created that out of your skill and imagination of what you can do with the given conditions.
Very nicely done mate!
