A moment from summer captured with most impressive timing. The beauty of this capture is highlighted in the incluion of two subjects, the rich and vibrant colours and most of the compsotion that you chose to make showing both the skippers in good perspective. The one flying is shown in good clarity with a fine blur of the wings...you must surely have mastered the way to handle that compact:)

Thanks much for sharing

Hello Nasos,
This snooty bird poses with attitude....andyou have showcased it well in its natural habitat.I like the subtle colours of the composition that go well with the bird. The POV gives fine view of the dorsal side as also the spread of its tail n the underside which is quite interesting to see.

Thanks much for sahring
Cheers

Hello Maury,
It is so nice to be back at your gallery and see the beautiful collection you have built up.
And this composition is one of the most delightful ones here, because the composition gives the viwer many things to look out for.The focus of course being the blue captured in excellent sharpness and details of its open wings and then the environment around.I love the well saturated colours.

Hello Beverly,

This is one from a time that each of us nature enthusiasts encounter. And imagie even staying indoors you are gifted with such brilliant opportunities.

A very artistic composition ...i love the water droplets on the pane that transfer the atmosphere to the viewer. And despite the galss the details are very well captured and presented with good clarity and fine colours.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful rainy day treasure...

Hi Asbed,
Technically this may not be the best, but i just like this composition.
I like the blue sky and the tree in the BG.
Also the placement of the bird -the Blackbird- that has always fascinated me since we do not have the same bird over here. The posture of the bird with the open beak is a beautiful moment frozen.

Assl.Alaikkum Adil,

A wonderful macro capture from Hatta.Looks like a clubtail.I like the palette colours where brown is predominant and goes well with your subject's own colours.
The image is well picked up showing good details on the head and abdomen.I wonder a slightly different DoF could have given a sharper view of the tailend and the wings!
Never-the-less it is a capture quite admirable for its beauty.

TFS and cheers

Hi Richa,
It has been a pleasant experience looking at your gallery and reading through your introduction:)It was like going back to the days i started here on TN.

Lovely composition.Yes, the noise is big time trouble when you are shooting with a P&S, but you seem to have already tamed the Panasonic to get an act without a blur in such high ISO conditions. The posture of the two is a highly enjoyable one. They are such cute animals to track in terms of behavioural patterns if you stay close to them. I love the way you managed the frame with that curved tail staying out beautifully.Indeed a wonderful cpature.

Keep clicking and have a great time!
Cheers and TFS

Hi Anna,
I have missed many a composition of yours and this is one i had marked in my mind a long time ago to come back whenever possible.

Quite an amusing find of a second name for this subject. I love the presentation for its technical qualities.I wonder how close where you to this one.The decision to take a portrait view makes it a picture worth every penny. The folds and creases on that textured skin with that ready to spring out toungue just peeping out of the mouth ....all make a heady combination.Even the expression on its eyes is hard to miss. The open mouth betrays a grin on your Bamboo Chicken Iggy.

A very delightful capture.
TFS and cheers
