Hi Paul,

Beautifully sharp detail as usual, like the blurred oof bg.
Happy New year,

Jim

Hi Paul,

Brilliant pic, I saw it also but the colours were far more muted. Catch up soon.

Hi Jason,

Great POV with warm colours, and nice OOF BG. I like it a lot, where did you find him?

Hi Paul,

Beautifully crisp focus, good DOF and nice against the dark BG. Leave the feeder in as the crop is too tight and spoils the bird.

Hi John,

Good action shot but still needed a bit more speed to freeze the action. However the image gives the impression of flight so it works well. I have the same camera set up and love it.

TFS.

Hi Alan,

Great capture of this shy bird, often heard but not seen. Love the POV, quite natural. TFS.

Hi Zhewen,

Nice capture, focus and exposure of this fast bird. DOF great , a tighter crop may remove the bg distractions.
