You got some artifacts here (due to the jpg compression?) and seems that the picture was out of focus, but else a good picture of this nice and slow animal.

Very nice pic with many details. Also an interesting note. Sometimes it is beleived that by having the insects those colours you mention, the animals can recognize that they are poisonous, but you state it well: one must be tried, then the animal knows.

The birs looks very interested in his own job, as you say, looking for insects. Interesting that the foreground colours are much the same as the background ones and still the picture is clear. Very nice image.

I like Leon Trippaers (letr) idea as much as Lesley's one of this picture. I like the strong defocused background because it has very soft colours that help to focus the eyes on the main subject: the butterfly. But I would prefer all the flowers to be in focus, because they are also beautiful.
