There are some very unique colours in this shot.
I also like how well the slimy surface can be seen without losing the detail such as the veins on the left of the eye.

(86) [2005-04-13 19:01] You are braver than me getting close enough for a macro shot on these bees. Good detail and nice warm colurs. The only downside is the large out of focus section.
I had a try with my first workshop as well.
