Thank you for the dedication. Very good capture of this beautiful fly. It is not a hoverfly, but a soldier fly as you mentionned. I could not find the species on diptera.info. I have to look further.

Nice capture of this hoverfly. Good composition and good sharpness. I can just give a clue for the identification, I suppose the species are different in Asia and in Europa. It may belongs to the genus Paragus with this big head and eyes (see the site diptera.info)
