Stunning image of a Bee about his daily business.

The clarity of the focus on the bee's eye and foot are spot on and the understated colours give it a dreamy feel.

Cheers

Hi Paras,

This one is the favourite of mine of your shots, Well captured to get two identical butterflies facing each other but at different depths of field and the DOF to throw the other one into the background really accentuates the main subject. Great framing and lighting too.

Hi Jean Marie,

This is an interesting portrait of a bird not known for its photogenic qualities and not phtographed that often.

It is also referenced in one of the most disturbing books I have ever read by Irvine Welsh - Marabou Stork Nightmares.

Hi Everton,

This is a delightful shot, not only perfectly capturing the fantastic hummingbird but also the Bee looking to get in on tha action makes it quite captivating.

Cheers

Very good shot of what looks like a formidable insect.

Hope I don't meet any in the Andaman Islands at Christmas, hope they don't bite !

Shame it's only his snout that's in focus.

Other than that, good shot.

Only just seen this and being a snake lover have been fascinated by it. Very sharp capture and great to get the tongue at full extension. TFS

Very interesting and informative Ena !

I didn't know birds did this (or some birds anyway) mind you it's not every day you get this close to a Kingfisher !
