Hi Welcome to treknature. You were really lucky to see a penguin like this and it must have been fascinating to watch him. I imagine as they move fast they are hard to photograph too- you did well to stop him blurring.

Wow he certainly is big and interesting info too. I did not know they contained poison. I really like this shot as it shows all of him - the pattern at the top and clear detail of his legs plus the area he likes to live. You did have a great trip.

He is truly beautiful and a nice detailed shot too. Insects are so difficult - I have at least 10 books on them but have never seen this one before.
