Hi Arif, I really like this picture :D
I believe you have here a female of the species Oedaleus decorus.
regards,
Ionut
Poza e superba!
Numai bine,
Ionut
Hello!
adult, female, Ephippiger ephippiger...
regards, Ionut
Hi Szabo, very nice pic! Splendid colors!
It is a male Chorthippus dorsatus, not Omocestus rufipes ;)
Regards, Ionut
Superb finding, Michal!
But are you sure is it not Pseudopodisma fieberi? I can't see the genitalia (usually pink or red in Odontopodisma, rarely green or yellow), but the red apical part of hind femora is usually for Pseudopodisma...
Pseudopodisma fieberi is quiet common in the Oriental Carpathians, I also found it near Bicazu Ardelean...
Regards,
Ionut
Hi Szabo, this Bush-cricket is Leptophyes albovittata, not L. punctatissima.
best regards!
hi Sebastien, very nice pic!
...but this species it is not Metrioptera roeselii...it is an Eupholidoptera :D

Hi Olcayto, a nice picture of a Poecilimon species (Orthoptera, Ensifera, Tettigoniidae).
It seems to be very hungry :D
best wishes,
Ionut
