A very nice image of this croc and the blurred background with the birds adds interest to the whole photograph

Saw these but never got a photo worth anything, so yours is great to see and is an excellant portrait. Use of the DOF is perfect and the textural elements are superb and add a great deal of interest to the subject. Topi are quite ugly though.

What can I say but absolutely perfect. A brillaint photo if only they would let us give 3 points for those really really special images

Kingfishers are one of my favorite birds, I leap from Jackdaws and sparrows to the jewels of colour. Again it is nice to see the subject off centre, great photo

Hey Thats my dad, only joking! Good portrait but the head looks like its a coconut! nothing to do with the photography.
Nice to see you put him off centre

Common but maybe not, apparently not but I have loads in my garden. The common house sparrow who would of believed it that they could get less common. Reminds me of the Passenger pigeon. However I have about 50 in my garden and they eat me out of house and home BUT I love the subtle earthy colours and your photo shows them off. Another of my favorite birds which musy make me rather unusual, something to do with liking black and white maybe.
A very nice portrait

This little critter breeds in King Alfreds cake fungus that grow on ash trees with dead wood. Apparently the markings are suppose to make it look like bird droppings and if you disturb this beast it falls to the ground upside down and plays dead and thereby looks just like a bird has passed by and cast away its excess baggage.
A nice shot of this beetle which is reasonably rare in the UK

A little blurred but it has excellant composition , a very nice pov. It is unfortunate the the digital cameras can't preform so well when you use both however a tripod may help keep it a little sharper

Excellant macro shot, lovely grey tones and good use of the DOF
