What a spectacular vision in a bleak landscape, are these poppies? Australia has a remberance day for the 1914/18 war and sell artificial poppies to raise money for returned soldiers from all wars, I always thought they were from Flanders, but this photo gives an equally compelling arguement for the Levant, as our troops were also there.
Thank you--- Peter

Fantastic caterpillar, the Photo gives me the impression that it is about to pull the leaf over itself like an envelope and the "cotton" will become the cocoon inside the leaf, you have captured two points where the silk is attached to the leaf. Do you know which butterfly it becomes?
Thank you.

G'day Paul, a beautiful butterfly, they do test your patience waiting for that moment when the wind is still and the butterfly poses. Do you have computer software? If so may I suggest you crop the photo so as to reduce the amount of background and shift the butterfly more towards the right and a little higher.
