Just one more reason why I like B&W. Nice composition and further proof that even "dead leaves" cn be a great subject for a photographer who can see.

What a great portrait of this bird. I don't want to be mean but I sometimes think some of the critic's "comments" are absurd and pedantic. "Noisy"? Who in hell cares. This is a magnificent portrait of a great bird.

This isn't that incredible a photograph but I love it! The only thing you might do to improve it is crop out the foilage on the right. I see incredible close-up photos on this forum with the greatest sharpness and colors but sometimes I need something different, and this shot does it!

It is a moth. The antennae give it away. Butterfles [at least most] don't have bizarre "fern like" antennae.
