You probably can't imagine how great it is to see you still here on TN! :-)
It may seem a strange thing to say, but for me you are a legend. Just like Callie, Gerhard, Luc, Howard, Paul and so many other "old" TNers.
I'm sorry to read about all the silly things that some people put on forums while I was away. The truth is this site wouldn't be what it is without you guys and a lot of people wouldn't be who they are now.
Maybe it's a big thing to say, but I mean it... The bunch of a little crazy people I've met here three or four years ago with their very infectious love to both nature and photography had a huge impact on me and I couldn't be more glad I've had a pleasure to know them :-)

And now for the critique ;-)
I love the "softness" of this picture. The colours and light are amazing.

Lovely shot! Not quite the usuall picture of a bug. I really like the dark BG with the yellow spot. Simple but so effective. The details are very clear and sharp. Nice framing too.

This is a really good macro. The details are very crips and clear and the colours very natural. I also like the lighting a lot. Using flash in macros can be tricky, but you did a great job. Apart from the slight shadow it's difficult to find any other clues you've actually used one.

Good job on this one! I like the POV a lot. The exposure on the feathers and the focus are spot on. Good framing too, but for some reason I find the twig in the centre of the image a little bit distracting.

I've just had a quick look through your gallery and this picture really grabbed my attention. This is such a cool shot!
Love the pose! The fact that the head isn't visible doesn't matter to me at all. The slightly open beak emerging from under the wings makes this photo quite funny. The quality is good enough though the focus is a little too soft in places.
Anyway, lovely job on this one!

Wyglada na to ze miniaturka tego zdjecia troche je krzywdzi, bo fotka w pelnej okazalosci wyglada duzo bardziej interesujaco. Swietna ostrosc i glebia. Czarno-biala kolorystyka w tym przypadku to byl bardzo dobry pomysl. Ten troche mroczny efekt jest super.
