Ok, now this is great composition! Thanks for sharing. These guys are everywhere but yes it is tough to get a good shot of them. Wow this is with a 150mm lense. Did you have a doubler on it? Love the sharpness and the colours.

Magnificent! Love the "S" of the branch, the sharpness, the warm colours of sunset, the highlighting on the subject, and that's all not to mention what a spectacular subject it is! With a fresh kill in it's mouth non the less! There are a lot of photos that get idle praise on this site and this fantastic image is currently a 4 points after being posted for a day. This is how things work here. Definately one of the best images I have seen on this site!
