hi jancie! nice capture! wonderful framing with so many types of plants. nice composition. i love the green in your photo. oh yea, i have just bought a 300D too! along with it i bought another Canon EF 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 III USM lens. not expensive but it's quite good. maybe u can consider this when u need a new lens.

i like the curves of this grass...it's the white color of the central patch of grass that make it the focus of the photo. i love the mood of it. TFS!

you have captured it just at the right moment! wonderful timing! Great details and DOV. only that if the sun is shining on it better then it would be perfect. but this cant be helped. i think your cropping is ok. i think the eye looks weird too. looks like it was drawn on the head. thanks for showing!

whoa~ your POV makes this owl look so huge, so fierce and ego! looks like it's looking down on me. perfect sharpness at the eyes and with the sharpness slowly fading away from the eyes makes the eyes so eyes catching. nice crop and nice frame! TFS

what kind of flowers are they? they look like feather to me. interesting flowers and nice purple. but i think it would be better if you could take away distracting things at the left hand side before you take the photo( the 2 brown things and the purple thing). oh by the way i am using 300D too! TFS and nice to meet u!

nice marco photo! i like the green grass framing and the way the antenna draw our attention to the head! and the orange insect with a black background makes it really stand out.. maybe it would be better if more detail of the front leg and the antenna could be shown? anyway i like it! TFS
