Hello Peter! What a great POV! This photo works on so many levels, but I am particularly impressed by the way the feathers are dappled in concert with the tree bark to create such wonderful camoflauge! Love his fuzzy "tufts" and the sleepy way you've caught him. Well done! TFS! Linda

Hello Aniruddha! Oh yes, they do bite humans!! I had literally thousands of these beetles on my house 2 weeks ago, had to seal all the doors and windows as they want to winter indoors, unlike our native species. Very fine detail, good clarity, interesting composition with true colour. I enjoyed your photo, but cannot say I enjoy those beetles! TFS, Linda

Hi Trevor! Very good POV! It enhances the lighting of the wisps of fluff against the blue, blue sky! Nicely composed, well done! TFS. Linda

Hello Nancy! It is not very often we see snakes elevated onto branches in this area, so your photo is of great interest! Great POV. You have captured the many textures of the fox snake's skin, smooth and shiny on the head, rough elsewhere. Very enlightening notes, we have the Massassauga down here in Wainfleet and didn't realize the two were so similar. Hope your description will help in preservation. Well done! TFS! Linda

Hello Mario! Two of my favourites--apple blossoms and the little hummer in one great shot! Love the POV among the blossoms, the clarity of both the bird and the blossoms is wonderful, can actually see the gleam in the little guy's eye! Great job! Linda

Hello Art! Amazing feet--I had no idea that a muskrat had long nails like that--guess I'd imagined beaver like webs. Great POV! He looks a little tired, looks like he's getting ready to hibernate. Very nice capture, well done! Linda

Hello John! We're about two months away from trilliums here in Southern Ontario, was surprised you have a species out already! Very good lighting, shows off the details with just a hint of sheen on the petals--very nice! Great detail in your comments. So glad you posted it! Linda

Hello Jim! "Down and dirty!" What a great POV you were able to assume! Love how the colours diffuse throughout the photo, the grays and whites, then the yellow of the bill, more grays and whites, then those shocking orange feet. Super opportunity for you, a great shot! Well done! Linda

Hello Michel! I live in southern Ontario, near Niagara Falls and have been seeing this sweet little bird at my feeder for the first time. It has been here for the past week or so. Have also been seeing your red-bellied woodpeckers. This is a very good shot, great POV, colours of feathers in it's breast nicely seen. Thanks so much for posting it! Linda
