Hi Emin,
Although a bit busy, but effective portrait, the plumage of the parakeet seems like a pearl. Great sharpness, lights and details. About where to find South Georgia and the Falklands on TN: Europe - United Kingdom - Other. Both have an active link, I mean there are photos already posted on TN from both territories.

Hi Ram,
Excellent, even funny composition - I love the parallel lines formed by the branch and the body of the kingfisher! :-) Unfortunately the bird was partially in shade, otherwise a very spectacular photo with nice lights and contrast, although, as said above, this pic is sold to the viewers by the compo first of all. Great one!

Ciao Luciano,
Aesthetic photo even without direct sunlight on the subject. Beautiful pose, reflection - and the golden patches on the water really add special tone to the whole pic. You said "nothing special", but I don't agree - this is not an everyday swan snap we all saw 1000 times. Congratulations!

Fantastic photo, the composition's breathtaking with the guanaco at the left and with the river in the background. Perfect exposure to show all the details even on the white parts. Lovely image, congratulations!

Although not the most colorful, yet gorgeous photo with perfect composition (I like the horizontal one for this image), sharpness and warm color tones - I love your white balance here! Minimalistic yet very interesting shot, even from the thumbnail view. Congratulations!

Hi Sri,
Gorgeous photo, fantastic pose, pretty lights. I might crop a little more from the busy left side of the pic, although this may be a question of different personal tastes. Otherwise an image to be proud of, nicely composed, tack sharp and the white balance is just optimal.

Hi Hasan,
This is good - however, if you close to more narrow aperture than 2.7, you get better depth of field, and not only the directly focused small area will be tack sharp. Good luck!

Hi Peter,
Absolutely gorgeous macro with perfect details, lights, colors, DoF, everything... and most importantly, pleasant, smart composition. I know how difficult is to photograph this species - I myself never managed to, although tried a few times, so this is the No. 1 item on my neverending wish-list. :-) Thanks for sharing this beauty.

Hi Paulo,
Nice close-up in difficult light conditions. A little underexposure (loss of details) on the neck (due to the harsh lights), but we also have great eye contaact and natural colors. The photo's fine, but next time please try to write a note with your post: about the species, or how you made this photo - anything may come!

Hi Lucja,
This is probably an amorph velvet shank (Flammulina velutipes) as it was growing on willow as you said, in wintertime, and the colors match. However, a workshop photo with the cap surface would be helpful.

Hi Peter,
Breathtaking photo. Beautiful subject, colors and background, exceptional PoV. The fire lily is an extremely rare species in Hungary also, and I managed to find it only once - in 2008 also, like you did. Although your photo's much better, feel free to have a look on mine also.

I don't think this photo would be terribly oversharpened. Maybe a very little on the head and the abdomen. Am I considered a back slapper if I publicly say I like this pic? :-)

Hi Ruby,
It's surely an Amanita, probably A. bisporigera as you identified, however, it's hard to confirm without microscopic analysation, most of all from Europe, because in Amanita genus the amount of endemic species is extremely high and the center of their distribution area is the American double continent. For example A. bisporigera isn't native in Europe either (we have A. virosa instead with almost similar outlook and the same toxicity). As a photograph, this is simple but good, nice exposure and composition. Next time you may remove the thin branch(es) from between the lens and the subject as they destruct the overall view a little.
Kind regards from Ireland, László

Cio Silvio,
This butterfly species is one of my favorites - although it's common at home in Hungary, I never managed to make a useful shot of it. Here in Ireland, where I currently live, during 4 years I managed to capture them at least 10 times. Your photo's very effective, even if the color saturation might be increased and the post-procession wasn't the most excellent. Probably you used the blur tool a bit strongly as in some small areas (right from the right antenna for example) the blur seems artificial and unpleasant, while in others (top left corner) some small lines remained sharp, but the nearby area is totally out of focus. Nevertheless, the butterfly, including the antennae, is tack sharp with plenty of details. It's a pity the PP was overdone as I'm more than sure the original image itself was useful enough.

Hi Sri,
Just commented the male, now I got the chance to see the female Anas smithii - she's much more quiet than her husband on the other pic. :-) Simplistic yet nice shot, great white balance settings showing sunset color tones (at least I guess these are sunset tones), perfect sharpness and effective reflection, even if it's not so clear, but an important part of the composition. Gorgeous work.

Hi Ron,
A little bit busy pic, mostly at the bottom, but sharpness, colors and depth are fantastic, and the species itself isn't common on the pages of TrekNature (if ever occured at all). Although I might crop much more from the bottom, I'm embraced by the exceptional color gamut - love your white balance here! Nice shot overall.
