[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Just back from my holidays!! Took this in the Khama Rhino Sanctuary - thanks to Loot Eksteen for the info about this amazingly coloured grasshopper.

I appreciate the image is slightly overexposed but this is one of the first insects shots I've taken! I dont have a macro lens so had to be a distance from this grasshopper. Taken early morning - you can see the droplets of dew on the guy so he obviously had been there all night!

Used a beanbag as usual for stability.

Good to see you post a grasshopper with all the possibilities where you live. Shows an eye for nature. Good sharp focus and cute colours. Little over exposure did not detract from it much.
