[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Our family was fortunate enough to go to Botswana during the Christmas holidays last year. This was our neighbour while camping at the Mankwe lodge near Moremi.

I cropped the original photo a bit using nikon picture project and I used the auto enhance function to correct the colours.

Baie oulike foto. Good use made of tree to frame. It is a yellow billed hornbill. The backlighting adds to the mood.
Good.

Beautiful colors, wonderful exposure, great focus.
Regards, Krzysztof.

Warm welcome to TN Franscois! Your composition of the Yellow Hornbill framed by the tree branch is very good. Lighting is good. Foreground is a little distracting.
I did a workshop on your picture. I changed the hue and sat a little, sharpened, filled flash a little, and cleaned up the foreground.
Hope you find the workshop useful.
TFS!!

Hi Franscois,
What an unusual looking bird....almost resembles the extinct "dodo" with its hooked beak and large beady eyes.Good detail and clarity and I like the colour created by the end of the day light.Well done and a pleasant evening to you.
Regards, David
