[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Kori Bustard is the heaviest flying bird (an ostrich weighs more but does not fly). Since flying is an effort for being so heavy, the bird will stay on the ground and walk as much as possible where it can find its most common food more easily: lizards.

They are native to Africa; however, they are poached in many countries making them a threatened bird.

Your notes are good.
The picture is out of focus; you have possibly cropped it way too tight to bring it closer.It's GOOD, though.
Had you sharpened & warmified it by throwing a lot more
contrasts it could have been saved ... POSSIBLY. BUT AT LEAST YOU TRIED. I'll work on it tommorrow.
