Giraffa camelopardalis peralta in North Cameroon.
The Waza national park is located in the flat plains of the far north of Cameroon nudging the borders of both Chad and Nigeria.
Covering more than 170,000ha (1,700km2, Waza is home to large expanses of flat acacia savanna, seasonal marshes and grassland make wiewing of game, especially herds of elephant, giraffe, hippo and antelope, relatively easy. You also have a good chance of spotting lion, warthog, cheetah, waterbuck, red-fronted gazelle, sable roan, domilesque, hartebeest, kob, baboon, monkey and buffalo.
Birdlife at the park is prolific and includes eagle, hornbill, crested crane, maribou, pelican, duck, goose, ostrich, heron, stork and guinea-fowl.

Hallo Alberto,
this is a very 'clear' picture of this particular subspecies of Giraffa camelopardalis. Is it ssp. rothschildi? Unfortunately a grass plant crosses the face of one specimen.
